On November 14th, the Pi Theta Chapter headed to Upper Valley Haven, an organization based in White River Junction that provides temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults. We had the opportunity to cook a baked spaghetti dinner, complete with delicious garlic bread, green beans, and dessert for the residents.

Upper Valley Haven is one of few organizations providing essential support to those struggling with poverty in the Upper Valley by providing food, shelter, education, and problem solving. As the winter months approach, and the harsh climate necessitates a safer place to stay, Haven’s services become especially important in the Upper Valley community.

There are many ways to get involved with Upper Valley Haven, including signing up with a group to cook dinner! We encourage you to find out how you can support them this season and beyond.
